BEDROOM TAX COMRES OPINION POLL

CLICK HERE FOR THE FULL DATA

To be honest when you look at some of the figures it is not something that shows Labour in entirely the favourable light they would like.

Still to have anyone to answer my question of, what is the difference between a tax and a benefit? As it seems Labour thinks giving less benefit to someone is taxing them. Don't you have to have earned something to then have it taxed.

48% of those who would vote Labour agree with George Osborne that the benefit system is broken.

When asked had Labour let too many people claim benefit who shouldn't have been entitled to it.

52% of Labour voters agreed 95% Conservatives agreed and 75% Lib Dems agreed

Now this is something Labour will play with in the running to the general election but do they consider that 16% of their voters agree with the bedroom (tax) allowance withdrawal and think benefits should be tackled. and 20% feel that something similar should be enforced.

Labour shouldn't take things for granted.
